Face masks
Skincare and self-care are two departments where I tend to struggle. When I need a boost in either department, I'll typically reach for a soothing face mask and feel like I can actually take control of my life once I wash it away. Some people dig sheet masks, or masks you leave on overnight, but I gravitate towards masks that you leave on for a bit and then rinse away.
Here are some of my favorites!
Freeman's Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask
I added this mask to my basket as soon as I saw the words "anti-stress." This masks claims to absorb excess oil, clarify clogged pores, replenish and balance moisture, and promote relaxing aromatherapy. My super oily skin loves this mask and I definitely feel at least somewhat soothed after rinsing it away. For under $4.00 as an add-on item, you really can't go wrong.
Freeman's Sparkling Pear Pore Cleansing Mask
Wearing this mask earlier tonight is what inspired me to write this post in the first place! The pear scent is refreshing and I can see a visible difference in the size of my pores and the texture of my skin once I take it off. Another add-on item, this mask won't break the bank at $7.00.
Origins' Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask
This mask is totally worth the $33.00 splurge imho. I impulse bought a travel sized version of this product before balling out on the full size and it absolutely changed my skin care game. My oily, acne-prone skin loves this mask and whenever I'm feeling extra gross this charcoal mask will have me feeling good as new!
GlamGlow's Gravitymud Firming Treatment Mask
This peel-off mask from GlamGlow is the ultimate splurge at almost $60.00. I once received a sample size of this product and was instantly obsessed. It smells like straight up piña coladas and it dries down to an awesome silvery color that is hard to resist a selfie with. Since I don't necessarily need to firm my skin on a regular basis, I convinced my mom to treat herself to this product and will "borrow" a bit on occasion.
