Watching TV
As my Twittersphere blows up this evening with blurbs from the Emmy Awards, I find myself thinking about how much great, entertaining TV I've been able to watch in my life. There's nothing more relaxing to me than plopping down in front of the couch and drifting away into whatever new universe my TV presents to me.
I love that the content on TV ranges from completely devoid of meaning to saturated with artistic and intellectual value. Whether you want to be sucked into a show that will make you reevaluate your entire life or you want to cackle judgmentally at other people's drama there is no shortage of shows to suit your needs! Some argue that TV is a vast wasteland of garbage content, but more often than not even trashy TV shows can provide some solid escapist entertainment.
With the media landscape evolving and reformatting how we consume television shows, I thought it could be fun to organize a list of some of my favorite shows based on how I watch them!
