FitBit Blaze
I've consistently worn a fitness tracker for the past three years. I originally had the purple FitBit Charge HR, and after that one broke I replaced it with the teal version.
I originally bought a FitBit so I could track my heart rate throughout the day and while I was sleeping. I had realized that my heart rate would regularly be fairly high and I wanted to see if I could learn more about when and why. Another feature I was drawn to was the silent alarm, where the FitBit vibrates as an alarm instead of using sound from your phone. I started wearing the Charge HR regularly and found I also loved being able to track my activity and steps throughout the day. It's always exciting to get a buzz on your wrist when you reach your daily goal!
My favorite part of wearing my FitBit was being able to compete in challenges with my friends! It was a cool way to stay in touch with friends after graduation, so when my Charge HR finally kicked the bucket, I knew I had to get a replacement ASAP. I had been thinking about trying out a smartwatch, so the FitBit Blaze was an awesome way to get all the features I loved in my Charge HR with the added features that come with a smartwatch.
Two features of the Blaze that I didn't anticipate using, but absolutely love, are the ability to track different exercises and the FitStar workouts. With the tracking feature you can easily categorize and track different activities while you're doing them! Looking back you can learn so much about what different types of exercises you usually do. The FitStar workouts are fun, quick ways to get in a work out and they load directly on the display complete with a demonstration of each move and a timer to tell you when the next one starts!
With all of the added features in the watch display, I don't have to dive into my FitBit app as often to check out my stats. You can even set alarms right from the FitBit Blaze rather than having to sync it to the app! The watch face is big enough to easily read all of the displays, but doesn't overwhelm my tiny wrist, which I was worried about before I bought it. And I love the purple band I picked (even though it was backordered when I ordered it).
Another awesome feature of the FitBit Blaze is that you can snap the tracker out of the band to switch it into other bands. You can use the original band for when you're working out and swap the tracker into a more stylish metal or leather watchband for when you want to dress up!
All in all, I love my FitBit Blaze. I wear it almost every day and it's always buzzing to remind me to get up and move! There are even more features on this tracker that I still haven't completely taken advantage of, but I love the options I have and how much I can customize every aspect! If you've been wanting to try out a fitness tracker but wish it had more of the features of a smartwatch, I'd definitely recommend the super customizable Blaze!
